WAAAAH!  Second day of classes and it's SNOWING!  The ground just has slush on it so I still have to go to class.  But I walked to campus today in the snow which is not as magical as I expected... it was a lot of snow to the face.  Fair warning, I may ramble on a bit in this journal because I'm at work and I don't have homework yet so I'm crazy bored.

My winter break was basically all playing Skyward Sword on my Wii when I wasn't hanging out with friends.  SO GOOD!  I actually haven't beaten the game yet... and I got it on its release day.  Ugh, I'm so ashamed, I don't deserve you, Zelda!  On that note, I've been working on a simple drawing on Zelda to practice drawing female figures (cuz they suck.  i hate curves.).  But I think its turning out alright, she doesn't look too derpy.  My drawing style doesn't really work with drawing super "kawaii" girls since I'm used to drawing men and slightly more realistic then some shoujo manga styles.

I have one super cheesy drawing in my sketchbook.  I don't know if I want to draw it for realsies or not because it's kinda embarrassing for me.  But then again one of my friends saw it and said it was cute even if it was cheesy... so maybe I'll draw it after all.   

I do have a project that I've wanted to work on for years but haven't felt confident enough in my skills to start.  But I'm probably gonna start writing the story and maybe even story boarding it during my study breaks this semester.  I'm excited, it's gonna be with my OCs Chloe and Rick.


So I suppose that's it for my yabber-jabbering today.  Actually if anyone knows great tutorials for hands or female bodies, I would greatly appreciate links.

I'm so excited to finish this semester, all that's left to dominate and destroy is finals week.

So remember those projects that i was gonna do from my last journal?  no?  well, I finished all but the notebook drawings and since those classes are basically completed I'm not gonna bother.  Maybe I'll draw Fullmetal Alchemist for the second semester of O Chem and No. 6 for Neurobiology (which might be more applicable then Microbiology?).

Anywho... When not studying my butt off I've been playing Skyward Sword.  OHMYJUMPINGMONKEYS!  SKYWARD SWORD IS SO GOOOOOOD!!!  Ok, huge fan.

Also I just uploaded some art things that aren't sketches. w-wait, I still do art that's not just a lame-o sketch?  Yes, surprisingly.  And hopefully in the near future those art things will be awesome and maybe even I'll conquer the skill of drawing women.  Who knows what kinds of exciting things will come with this winter break! (probably mostly playing legend of zelda...)

I've been having recent angst towards my computer in term of coloring my line arts digitally.  So I don't expect to submit any digital art anytime soon.  Traditional is fun cuz I can go crazy with shading.  My recent drawing of Hibari Kyouya was lots of fun.
